The Community Hospice Foundation

We bring comfort and peace to hospice patients and families through financial support, resources, and advocacy.

Together, we can ease the burden of terminal illness.

When terminal illness strikes, patients and families are left struggling with medical bills, lost income, and the heavy burden of hospice care.

We exist to bridge that gap. Through financial assistance, education, and advocacy, the Community Hospice Foundation helps hospice patients and families find stability and hope during life’s hardest moments.

Our Mission

Professional Care

The Community Hospice Foundation of Baldwin County is committed to serving hospice individuals and families who are in need of educational resources, financial support and advocacy during their hospice journey.

The Community Hospice Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the needs of terminally ill patients and their families who are participating in the Hospice Benefit. Founded in 2019, the Foundation has provided resources and financial support to hundreds of patients and families across Baldwin, Escambia, and Mobile Counties.

As part of Community Hospice, we work to raise funds through donations and charitable events to support hospice programs and provide direct assistance to our patients and their families. Our efforts help cover non-medical expenses, fund enrichment programs, provide grief and bereavement services, and ensure our patients live comfortably in hospice care.

We know hospice care can bring emotional and financial burdens that families are often unprepared to face. The Community Hospice Foundation exists to ease that weight so patients and their loved ones can focus on what matters most: dignity, comfort, and time together.

How We Help

Through community donations and support, we’re able to provide programs and assistance that ease burdens and bring peace of mind during the hospice journey.

Financial Support

We provide financial support directly to patients and families for non-medical expenses like nutrition, utilities, transportation, and funeral services that aren’t covered by insurance.

Bereavement & Grief Support

We help families find comfort and healing after loss by providing grief counseling, emotional support, memorial services and bereavement programs.

Advocacy & Education

The hospice benefit is underutilized. We fund advocacy and community education to help patients and families understand palliative care options that allow them to live comfortably with their illness.

Quality of Life Programs

We fund meaningful experiences such as music therapy and other enrichment activities that bring dignity and peace to hospice patients.

Our Impact

The Community Hospice Foundation is a nonprofit organization funded solely through donations, fundraising, and community support. Since 2019, your generosity has helped impact hundreds of families and patients by providing grants, services, and other resources related to hospice care.
